Join us on Mondays from 6-7:30pm to harvest produce for donation to Jewish Family Service food bank. We collect produce, wash as needed at our outdoor sink and prep area, bag and weigh for our records.
Please wear comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes, and bring gloves if you have them. A hat and water bottle are also a good idea on hot days.
After the harvest join us for our weekly evening potluck, Mondays at 7:30pm. You are welcome to bring something to share, a picnic for yourself, or just hang out with us in the garden! Please bring your own plates and silverware to help reduce waste.
Samuels teachers, parents and students, as well as community members, are all welcome!
The garden is located next to Samuels Elementary School at 3985 S Vincennes Ct, Denver, CO 80237. Please park in the parking lot in front of the school, and you will see the garden to the right of the main school building.
Masks are now optional in the garden, but of course anyone is welcome to wear one if they feel more comfortable doing so.
